Elena Jawitz-Blue, ABOC
Elena is known for her meticulous attention to detail and deeply personalized approach to client care. Over the course of her career, she has worked with several respected optical shops, including Eyelook and Winchester Optical, and has also served in a leadership role as a multi-unit manager for a high-volume optometry practice, where she guided daily operations and team development with both precision and heart.
Before entering the optical industry, Elena built a successful career as a master barber on Boston’s iconic Newbury Street. That experience sharpened her eye for aesthetics, craftsmanship, and service—elements that continue to define her distinctive approach to eyewear today.
As the proud daughter of South African immigrants, Elena brings a rich cultural perspective to her work. She is also conversational in Spanish, allowing her to connect with clients in a warm and approachable way. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Humane Society, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community care and advocacy.

Darian "Blue" Jawitz-Blue, ABOC
With over a decade of experience in the high-end eyewear industry, Blue has built a distinguished career in Massachusetts, specializing in personalized optical services and customer satisfaction. His extensive expertise spans numerous prestigious eyewear shops across the state, including notable tenures at Eye Q Optical. Blue’s deep understanding of advanced eyewear technologies, coupled with his keen eye for design, allows him to provide clients with unparalleled advice and tailored solutions.
Blue graduated in 2016 from the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology, where he honed his skills and passion for optics, further enriching his knowledge of lens crafting, fitting, and vision correction. Over the years, he has earned a reputation for his exceptional customer service, strong technical proficiency, and commitment to improving clients’ optical health and style. Whether advising on the latest eyewear trends or ensuring a perfect fit, Blue has remained at the forefront of the eyewear industry, continually striving to provide the best possible experience for every client.
